4. I drink tap water and boiled water everyday, why do I need ionized microcluster alkaline water?

Water as it comes out of the tap is basically undrinkable. It has a foul taste and deleterious effects on the body because it contains Chlorine. 10. How much ionized microcluster alkaline water should I drink everyday?

An average person needs to drink at least 1.5 liter of water per day. For the best result, form a good habit of drinking a glass of microclustered functional water as the first thing in the morning with empty stomach and before breakfast. It helps you clean the waste and toxin accumulated in your body over night. Drink as much water as you can. Use microclustered water for cooking, baking, washing, making beverages, and etc.

11. How often do I need to replace the filters?

13. Why my pH paper stripe or electric pH meter shows different pH reading?

We often found pH paper stripe does not show the correct pH. Once it's opened, it's exposed in the air and testing the air pH over the period, and loses its accuracy.

Electric pH meter often produces inaccurate result if it's not maintained or calibrated properly. The probe needs to be cleaned and calibrated every time before and after usage, which people often forget to do. If the probe is wet or dirty, it will be oxidized and no longer produce accurate measurement.

The most accurate way to test water pH is to use pH liquid reagent. You can get it from local swimming pool suppliers, or you can get the pH tester online from our web store.

14. pH of healthy blood is 7.35-7.45, why pH 8.0 is chosen to alkalize our body?

Most of the food in our modern diet is too acidic and produces an imbalance in the form of acidity in the body (e.g. meat, egg, cooking oil, cooked grain, sweets, milk, coffee, cola, alcohol). To neutralize, we need water which is slightly more alkaline than healthy blood (pH 7.45). However, it does not mean more alkaline the water is, healthier the water is. According to the government's drinking water standard, pH of drinking water should not exceeds 8.5. That's why we produce water with pH 8.0~8.5.

15. Why I think the water has a strange taste?

A healthy person will feel Water80 ionized microcluster alkaline water has smooth and sweet taste. However, if you were in sub-healthy state or had chronic disease such as constipation, diabetes, insomnia, high blood pressure or morning sickness, you would have different feeling after drinking the water. 16. Is there any chemicals added to water to make it alkaline?

There is no chemical added. First of all, there is nowhere on the Water80 filter system to add chemical. Secondly, if there were any chemicals added, then the pH of water would be unstable because it depends on the amount of chemicals that are added. For example, more sugar is dissolved in water, sweeter the water becomes. On the contrary,  Water80 filter system always produces water with stable pH everyday, which contradicts that there are chemical addictives.

17. Does alkaline water still take effect after it passes through acidic stomach?

Stomach produces gastric acid during digestion process and when it is full of food. It does not produce gastric acid when it’s empty, and therefore alkaline water passes through stomach and is absorbed by intestine. If gastric acid is over produced when stomach is empty, it can cause acid stomach pain. That’s also why alkaline water helps acid stomach pain relief. Drink water before meals or one hour after meals. In fact, there is not much water you can drink when your stomach is full.
